What's with the random RQ?

This game has alot (especially players who have already seen the cutscene once) jerks. They will try to force you to skip stuff, which they had the pleasure of enjoying. I have never skipped a cutscene (if its my first time) and I advice others to never give in to their demands. These type of players will always be present, if they kick you, report them and move on.

These cutscenes aren't even that long, except for the ones at the final fight. It's not like Castrum or Prae where there were 30+ minutes of micro movies scattered throughout - it's literally 2 minutes at the beginning and another minute just before the last boss.

And seriously, someone who's going to make people skip the cutscene for a major story event? Not even worth dealing with such a person.

Had the same issue as well. I don't play that much and I'm way slower than many other players, so there are still a lot of new things to me.

Wanted to do the library, watched the cutscene at the beginning and the tank was like "Skip or kick". I know, you can watch them later on, but I like watching them in the context.

I think I'll do my first times in dungeons with friends only from now on :/

It was just a random asshole. I also play tank and will make other people wait until the new player has watched his cutscene. If they try to go ahead and pull mobs, I won't tank them lol

SE needs to adjust first time dungeons so new players are made immune to kick. Sure, keep it so all individuals can skip their own, but can't kick someone on a first time view. Repeat viewers can be kicked.

I doubt SE really wants to get into the business of deciding who should and should not be able to watch cutscenes.

If someone's being a jerk about it, promise to give them back the 30 seconds of their life they lost afterward.

One time some people were talking in the party chat obviously about me and the other player calling us "double derps" and stuff like, "wrong carbuncle, too" after also making fun of us for watching the cutscene. Honestly I didn't know I had to study dungeon fights on YouTube before playing a game for the first time. Regular gaming you do the fight a couple of times to get it down. It really got to me. I just have zero BS policy now with DF buttheads. If someone is a jerk, I just take the 30 minute hit and abandon.

Sorry to the innocent ppl in the party but I just don't have the patience anymore to sit there and take their crap anymore.
