As a tank, I let everyone watch the cutscenes, if its their first time, they deserve the right to see how the story unfolds.
Ditto As a tank i ask at the start how slow do you want to go? how many pulls do you want ====) healer do you guys wanna get the whole place. 1st i make sure me and the healer are one that way it's as easy as pie next i ask the dps how they wanna do things for me when everyone is happy and on the same page that's a party
These people forcing others to Skip a scene are WAY more worse than a newb who dont know what to do and not asking what to do!
Why you join the Duty Finder that always gives ---> Random <--- people!?
You so called "Pr0s" should make a group in Party Finder with other "Pr0s"" ---- Thanks >_>
I'm apologize to any of you who may have been kicked or experienced and stupidity because of impatient players. If I get a new player, I may sigh (but not in chat), but I honestly have no qualms with people who take a slower pace. If anyone complains about you slowing their progress, simply remind them that they are getting bonus tomes, and that they had the option to queue with friends. Don't let people get you down. Trust me, most people are fine with you watching cutscenes.
As someone already pointed out, it's a completely different situation from OP. But this really isn't an issue. When I first didn't Bismarck, Blue gatr's thread was popular, but I did a blind party. If you had seen a video or know the fight, i kindly asked such people to stay away. However, some people have put it effort and they simply require others who have put in the same about of effort. If this isn't for you, you can simply put up a pf about going in blind.
I agree completely with the OP that there is too much negativity and 'rush rush' in the DF, and personally, myself and many in my group of friends, have taken to not even using it at all unless we must (low level roulette). This is sad, really, because then we may be missing out on meeting some nice people. Also, the fact that people like me (who are leveling WHM and PLD to 60) who choose, due to the potentially rude and intolerant behavior of some in the DF, to not use it, makes it seem like there is a shortage of tanks and healers. I think that the "shortage of tanks" and, to a lesser degree, healers, is really a "shortage of tanks and healers willing to put up with DF. The DF and some of the ways people behave like children when using it drives many of us away from it altogether -- sad, really.
Hey at least you sigh to yourself {people need to try that more so then not} but yes there are many out there who will let you watch your cuts or work with you and so forth but then there are the bugs who will push players into waiting to quit by being flat out horrible for making one mistake. Here is my way flat out ppl who tell others to skip stuff are wrong STOP!!! ppl who tell others to watch a youtube vid when a runs new STOP!!!!!!! if the said runs been out for 6 months 5 tops then sure you can ask them or tell them maybe watch a you tube vid for help?
