Right? lol the fact we are seeing this so early on makes me sad and at times really kills the fun of this game {assholes are assholes yes iv put up with them for a very long time but come on ppl?} it's a game can't we help one other and have some fun?

Yeah it really sucks. The dungeon courtesy this week has been hellish.... in the duty finder this week. I am assuming that now that more people are hitting the 60 threshold, that the bad apples are all rolling into the duty finder now. I mean heavens forbid that you read the little lore books in the library dungeon now >.>

Wow, this is exactly what happened to me! The first time I ever fought Bismarck, I zoned into the arena and 3 people out of the group immediately left. The rest were new. As soon as we got those 3 people replaced, we fought Bismarck and beat him first try.

We will never experience that level of new ever again in ffxiv cuz even tho ppl r new to expac, ppl aren't new to this game like they were in 2.0 release.
So ppl have a greater sense of what they want to get accomplished.
Cuz honestly every expac from here on will be like this. Only the EA day 1-4 ppl will get to experience the omg going in blind what do.

Everytime I enter a new instance for the first time I do not just watch the cutscene, I also under no circumstances open the chat window.

Honestly if anyone threatens to kick me, I would not know until after and that's the way I want it.

Pfft, kick the person who threatens to kick you. See how he likes it.

I would warn the the person making the threats to stop or they would get vote kicked themselves even if they are a tank or healer. It's simple enough to ask an FC friend to pop themselves into a join in progress party to replace them if needs be if they don't fix their attitude problem. The new content does not actually have much in the way of cutscene's during the content so there is very little, if any reason to force people to skip them.

Demanding people skip cutscenes is not elitism.

It's funny, I actually stopped seeing people make this demand the moment the "skip cutscenes I've already seen" checkbox was added to the game. Never saw another one after that.

Personally, stepping foot for the first time into a duty, I'm watching the cutscenes. If people don't like it, well I don't know that because my chat window isn't visible during the cutscenes :P
