Getting refused to EX groups as a DRK

DRK + WAR:

1.) Shadowskin + Shadow Wall + Dark Mind + Conv
2.) Holmgang + Veng + Thrill + Conv + IB
3.) Living Dead + Conv
4.) Vengeance + Thrill + Conv + IB
5.) Shadowskin + Shadow Wall + Dark Mind + Conv
6.) Holmgang + Vengeance + Thrill + Conv + IB

PLD + WAR can do the same thing, allowing immunity on the 3rd set entirely, but having less overall mitigation for the other 2. PLD does, however, have a better Convalescence so maybe that would even things out? I dunno.

Edit: 500 years later I realized that I'd forgotten about Sentinel's +10% more mitigation over Shadow Wall, but that doesn't really beat the 30% from Dark Mind. PLD does have Hallowed, though, so...

hey man, that's just the idealism your posts suggest, i'm not telling you that you have to level WAR/PLD. I just get the impression that if you took progression as seriously as you vaunt about it, you'd have something else to show for it if you really felt like DRK brought nothing to the table.

as for progression i really don't care about debating the definition of internet jargon that i feel has a pretty defined meaning, but it's not a word i'd use to describe wiping to turn 2 in half i90 tome gear with an average party item level of 81.

DRK is viable for all content that is currently available to the playerbase. You will wipe because of people in your party being stupid before you wipe because DRK does not have some amazingly special tool that WAR or PLD has. And yes, you may wipe because the DRK in your party is a stupid player, but not because they chose to play DRK.

If the class needs adjustments and the representation of DRK is especially low in Alexander, it will see them. I mean, shit. They already tacked on some of the quality of life changes we wanted as WAR to DRKs.

No, you genuinely missed the entire point everyone is making. Like literally it flew so high over your head. What else do you expect me to say? It's as clear as day saying anything more is pointless, because you just cant seem to grasp the concept of what people are saying. But I guess that's a side effect of the "I think I'm better than everyone, and everyone just needs to get good" attitude.
