Reused Armor & Weapon Skins...Really?

I get it, tons and tons of items in the game..but really? Reusing old weapons and just reskinning them to a different color? Especially for an expansion that is supposed to have "New" weapons? That's pure laziness in my book... Especially the Level 56 caster chestpiece.. It's the Bard chest from a while ago just reskinned, SLIGHTLY altered, and i use slightly heavily, and called it caster gear.

Come on SE, I know you guys are way better than that.

Guess what, some of us are happy we FINALLY get to wear cool gear that wasn't previously available to our class. In terms of glamour, it's awesome so I don't have any complaints. There is plenty of new original gear too.

I totally agree with this, i was beside myself with happiness when i saw that i could wear gear that was previously exclusive to other jobs.

It's now dyeable so that defintiely made me satisfied knowing I don't have to deal with the ugly color schemes previously used on the gear.

I'm just busy admiring the 'musket sticks'. That's a slightly retextured v1.0 Arcanist's radical. I swear, with Urianger having used that thing for a while as well, the steampunk staff's turning into the vacuum-handle gun prop of FFXIV.

If you look at the old 1-49 leveling gear, they are largely composed of recolors/reskins too.

Granted, they could be more creative, but it's really not new for them to reuse stuff.

That's cuz SE doesnt want to allow you to wear anything on any class.

And why would SE work so hard on armor that you're going to replace? They didn't do it for 1-49 (excluding vanity gear). They made very nice armor for the dungeons (which they've done before), but they do last you a bit longer than crafted gear.

I do like that they used some armor sets that were originally only available to one class, and dyeable! Definitely confused me at first though when all these healers were wearing Bard tops, lol.

I usually hate reskins but I like these, its the dungeon gear you always wanted to wear but you never could because it wasn't for your class, plus its shitty leveling gear.
