Ul'dah isn't Jeuno, and this isn't any of those games you mentioned.
it's not about being Jeuno or WoW, it's about the fact that you will never be able to "decentralize" a hub city that players have decided upon until another location is decided upon by the player base and they all move there. There will always be one city that is massively populated while the others are ghost towns. It happens in every MMO (even ones with global chat channels and global linked auction houses). it's not a bad thing, it just is
I understand what your saying Panda, and I know you can never fully decentralize any hub. I even agree with your point, yet I'm asking for those of us that want to chose another area outside of Ul'dah to be allowed to without being forced to have to stay in Ul'dah.it's not about being Jeuno or WoW, it's about the fact that you will never be able to "decentralize" a hub city that players have decided upon until another location is decided upon by the player base and they all move there. How are you "forced" to stay in ul'dah, because that's where everyone hangs out?
The only way that is ever going to change is when Ishguard opens up and everyone migrates there. Same stuff, different city. Unless SE changes the way the story missions work post-22 everyone will continue to be sent to ul'dah and that's the primary reason it has become the hub city. As Ul'dah even says " everything makes it's way to Ul'dah eventually".
