    Fang and Claw and Wheeling Thrust need some fixing.

    Having Wheeling Thrust and Fang and Claw is actually worse than having just one because it randomly gives the player the buff Enhanced Wheeling Thrust or the buff Sharper Fang and Claw. Because of this the player has to check which one it gives and move according to that instead of it giving both and allowing the player to choose which one to use according to which positional better suits their situation. I think this needs to be fixed, anyone else a bit upset by it?

    I quite like it personally. Puts some vim and vigour into the class! Getting to choose your own would be way too easy - may as well give you one move with no positional requirements if you want to do that.

    To me it feels like it adds more luck into the class rather than adding genuine difficulty

    It does add difficulty, because you now have to plan ahead; you have to put yourself in a position where you can move to the rear/flank of the boss in the time it takes for your GCD to come back up, and plus it'll catch you out if you use jump before the 4th.

    The luck is the same as every other positional you have. You'll miss your Chaos Thrusts in Ravana Ex like you'll miss your 4ths there.

    The thing about it that bothers me is that I was actually better off without wheeling thrust, with just fang and claw I always knew how I needed to move instead of having to hold off on cooldowns to look at my buffs.

    Both of them do the same damage, it's just a positional. It actually makes you think ahead a bit and be ready for whatever one you get.

    The only thing it would need is some tweaking maybe: Its working as intended right now meaning there is nothing to "fix" about it. I would love for them to be more different then just positionals myself but that wouldn't be a fix, just tweaking.

    I found that after the 58 quest, I had way way less fun with the job. Not being able to make a stable rotation, ALWAYS having to move around, not knowing which attack out of the two identically potent ones i need to use, having all of that gated behind a cooldown that i need to keep refreshing the duration on... no thanks.

    I love it. It adds a certain complexity to the job. Let's face it, the old rotation was something you could do in your sleep. This one forces you to think and react. And personally, I am always in favor of a mechanic that widens the gap a little between the good and the bad players.

    I used to not like and dread the talk of its randomness when I was approaching 58 but after a few days doing primals and dungeons you will get used to it and its not really bad since missing one is not that bad when up keeping botd is more important.
