Balmung pop control. Report bots in north than.

If balmung has an issue with crowding then we need to step up and get enough people to report those who level 50-60 botting in north thanalan. I am for one sick of cheaters going un punished and if even a fraction of balmung player base would report these bots we could start removing trash from our server. I know of entire fc\\'s who are botting right now.

Look people are tired of RMT's as much as the next guy but it's not our jobs
to play Sherlocke Holmes and sniff out the RMT's/Bots all the time.
You assumed that every one N. Than was a bot, and a lot of them aren't.
So you're on the verge of reporting innocents.
And going around saying "So and so is a bot" is harassment and you can get in trouble. Which you did in SoC and I saw it while doing Aether Currents the other day lol.
STF needs to step up their game and let them actually PLAY and watch for it like other MMO's that have GM's. We can't keep doing this.

If you would actually look instead of feigning ignorance you can see 15 forum posts full of people posting videos of bot trains in North Thanalan. I and many others clocked these people farming for 3 days straight without logging out once. They did the entire check list what every bot in all the servers are doing. Leaving DD after the first quest ends and running back to see the next step end 20 seconds later then you can see them all mount up and head to the next fate. They will fight at collection quests and never once turn in the quest. Most of them are not in parties and the botters I confronted in the zone multiple people in that FC bot. I have seen afk tags over there heads farming for hours at a time mining and herbalism. One guy in that FC has botted 4 relics during the entire light phase and atma farming phase.

Sorry but they are cheaters and do not deserve to be protected. They deserve to have their FC if they gained the money through bot/cheating means wiped out. All the bots need to be stripped naked and leveled down to 1 then they need to be banned. You cannot give an inch to these cheaters because it is such a huge issue and causes disparities amongst legit players. We will have wow all over again if we do not step up and report these people. Ive seen people banned before fairly quickly but it has taken multiple reports. Sometimes 30+. The botter who I confronted almost 9 people in his FC bot daily.

Sadly bots do not really hurt other people and it actually helps alot of people via more fates being demolished by swarms leveling characters and tradeskillers who dislike farming mats themselves and enjoy the fruites of computer farmed goods on the cheap. People for the most part do not care and you are most likely going to give yourself a hernia always being upset about other people that does not directly interfere with your in game play time. Even if you are on the right side of the issue your attitude ends up putting you on the wrong side.

Ultimately just report them and move on. Why even bother paying for a game if its in misery thinking people are outdoing you because they can bot 24/7. You followed the system by reporting suspicious activity and there is nothing else you can do that does not put you in a lime light. That little ruckus in the ocean of cloud can get you the ban over other people. SE takes a stronger stance on harassment over botting at the moment.

As a player desperately seeking to get INTO Balmung, these dang bots pose an issue for me. I've been trying to get into the server for some time now and every day, even at the usual window, there is no chance since folks continually are making instant bots or just filling up the small spaces where people could be making dedicated characters. For now, I'm stuck waiting in Leviathan until a window opens again.

He is talking about people who use that bot which is extremely famous for being an issue over at wow. Since the massive ban waves from wow most of these botters have moved to here. Not the extreme RMT teleport bots but more casual and thus harder for SE to handle if they do not have detection software.
