Can't get in game- more PSN issues

My day off and finally have time to accomplish so much that I can't when subject to interruptions and can't access the game due to PSN issues. Even though my console has Internet access, and we have ingame authentication available with User Name/Password. The PSN tie-in requirement is BS!

SE cant control PSN connection issues, its not SEs fault. Thats on sony. :/
Only thing i can sagest is get the PC version then you never have to worry about PSN issues again.

The PSN tie-in is most likely required by Sony, not SE. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Blame it to Sony that they want you to be able to login to FF XIV with only your own PSN account.
Also the reason why you can't change the SE-ID in the launcher once linked your PSN account to your SE account.

I'm having issues as well, I was playing normally then all of a sudden it boots me from the game and says "cannot use content. Cannot connect to to the server to verify the license"

This is seriously some bullshit. It used to be if you were logged into ffxiv you could play even if sony was under maintenance, now if sony screws up it can boot you from the game whenever? They need to get their shit together.

Set your PS4 as primary console, to avoid to get kick out the next time.

Psn down due to "unexpected issues" its amazing how this always seems to happen during holiday weekends and times where many ppl actually have free time to play online!
