3.x Story Speculation (Obviously spoilers for all of Heavensward)

My thoughts:

Scions - With Y'sholta back, we can see that her story will be restoring the "light in her eyes" and that could mean that Matoya could sacrifice her sight so Y'sholta can see again. We'll probably find one Scion per patch with us finding Minifillia last.

Nidhogg - I can see Midgard actually consuming Nidhogg and returning to his original body. Not sure if that would work since he's now split his life force between Chibi Midgard and our Flying Mount Midgard.

The Asciains - Well... this story will be continuing even after 3.xx concludes 1.5 yrs from now.

Empire - They'll be a pain throughout 3.xx and probably will fight them again at the end to lead into 4.0 which I can see us retaking Ala Mhigo.

Other than that... I don't have any other ideas where the story may go.

Personally I don't care about the other scions. The only one I cared about was Y'shtola and since she's back I'm happy. But I do agree we'll probably find one per patch. There is also no way any of them are dead seeing as SE didn't even make Tataru or Alphinaud really worried about them. Especially after we learn that no bodies we're found. Now they're just like "We just have to find them!". No way they'll be dead.

On other things, I really, really, really want to save Estinien. He has become my FAVORITE. I'm really sad about him becoming Nidhogg but I have hope.

I also don't think Yasayle is really gone or at least not gone for good. She dissolved into aether but all primals do and yet they come back again and again. I suspect she'll be summoned at least once either by us or the Dravanians. But her being an ACTUAL soul rather than a CREATED one like the other primals leads to maybe being able to bring her back for good. Plus there's the fact that she has the echo and the Ascians are able to use the echo to possess people. I could see that happening too.

Lastly, I want more Hilda but I worry about saying that because my three favorite characters had horrible stuff happen to them in 3.0 and I don't wanna jinx her. T.T

Anyone else think we may hunt down Ilberd in 3.X and through that part of the 3.X storyline we may start getting pieces of reasons why we may fight to retake Ala Mhigo at the end of 3.X era so we can have full access to Ala Mhigo in 4.0?

and hopefully the Garlean Empire as well in 4.0.

My thoughts are that he saw you as a Warrior of Darkness, may explain why you were all shadowy looking.

I really want Yda and Papalymo back, they were a rather fun duo to have around. Same with Minfilia, it just isn't the same without her around.

I think 3.0 will be about in no order of importance:
1. Saving Estinien.
2. Finding the missing Scions.
3. Fighting the Empire.
4. Fighting the remaining rogue Crystal Braves members.
5. The warrior of darkness and his companions.

I think 3.0 will end with the fight vs Ziodark and the introduction of the war vs the empire.

I feel like Haurchefant is going to come back, not alive, in some way that is very tragic and will make me cry. Or at least he will come up again in a way that is very tragic and will make me cry. I don't want this but I feel it coming.

I *know* Estinien will come up and I am actually SUPER looking forward to that. Estinien got taken over by Nidhogg and has Lahabrea lodged in his face. There are so many insane ways this plot thread could go.

Ysayle I doubt is gone for good. She has the Echo and can call on a primal to inhabit her body. Either by Echo or crystals she could come back in some form (and wouldn't you know it, she has some fanatical followers who very well could summon her).
