Yes it is really broken right now. You can gain almost 100k or more from a leve party. That's ridiculous imo and should be nerfed. This game is supposed to have a grind and here people are ranking up like they are getting free samples at walmart. NO

If you have 8 leves, all done in Gridania and you gain about 8k per leve, times the 8 that you have is about 64k. Plus the 2k you get from everyone elses leves, that's 2k*4 leves*4people (since there are cases where you have the same leves) which would give you around 32k... So in essence, yes it's almost 100k. That's not including the super easy sp raptor parties that don't limit how much sp you get in 36 hours. And no I haven't played this game recently, but I know what I'm talking about since you seem to only be rank 34.

This would be impossible to do, as you can't usually get 8 leves for your rank from the same city - 6 at most. Not only that, but you're talking about 5-starring each and every one, and getting the speed bonus for every one of them. This isn't difficult to do on any one leve but it's hard to get all of them that way. Not only that, but you'll likely run out of Guardian's aspect pretty damn fast using this method.

OTOH you can usually throw in 1-2 behests during your pt, that adds another 6k sp or so per behest...

I think the point was is you can still get a lot of SP from leve parties comparable and even better then pre leve patch.

Oh well, in that case, the point was absolutely correct. The SP is better post-patch than pre-patch.

Not that it's going to matter for long - with SP chains being introduced in 1.19, I think that SP/Materia parties are going to become de rigueur.

I have no friggn Idea what the hell are you talking about. I 5 Star them all and get the Speedbonus even when i Solo. I get Solo around 65k-70k for 8 Battle-leves.

You guys forget some simple things, you are just talking about the Bonus at the end.

- There are Mobs in the leves which also gives SP. ( Solo i get most of the Time around 200-230, but also there are crappy ones which only gives 100ish even on 5 Stars. )
- When you have a couple People with you, not everyone is having the same leves.. so the Bonus you get from other leves than yours will stack up quick to like 20k.

So the Average SP i gained after completing a leve, including the Mobs, is almost always around 9k-11k. Sometimes less due some messed up Stuff, so the Bonus will be lowered..

But anyways.. 100k is actually an accurate Number if you do a 8 Man Leverun.

The post I was responding to specifically mentioned getting all 8 in Grid - because the SP bonuses are significantly higher there. That's not possible to do for all 8 of your leves, at least until they implement the new system, anyway.

I think you also may be thinking of the r45-50 grind. When you're a r37 player, getting ready to do r40 leves, you're not 5-starring them solo and getting the speed bonus.

Looks like you dont know how they work. After 1.18 was implemented they turned into Easy Mode. If you cant solo them on 5 Stars you obviously fail. I did it on a couple Classes up to 50. And im currently on another Class which is almost 50. If you just go and grab all leves you can get in one City, you shouldnt be surprised. Get the ones which can be done fast, is all you need to do.. i.e. Desert Defilement, Blacksand and so on.. if you try things like All cracked up, im not really surprised that you are claiming that you cant do it.

And again.. yes i do solo and 5 Star them, including Speed Bonus. Desert Defilement just takes 3-4 Minutes to do so. lol.. and no im not thinking about Grinding. but i understand your mistake now.. if you try to do 40 Leves with 37, then you wont be able to do it. What you think why they are called Rank40 Leves? .. It didnt matter pre 1.18.. but it does matter now.
