    Is This a Bug?

When doing the Battle Levequest "Whither the Morbel Goeth" I continually run into this problem. When I properly pacify one of the MoBs it will not drop from combat thus preventing me from healing properly prior to engaging the next MoB. The quest continues to show me engaged with the Morbel no matter how far I move away from it. It makes no difference whether I am using a companion or not. The only way for my to break off combat is to abandon the quest. Has any one else seen this problem? Is it working as intended or is it a Bug? anyway I can correct it without losing a Levequest?

Are you sure you are pacifying at the right time? Trying it too soon, AKA when its HP is too high, will make it angry.

Usually this happens if a Auto Attack hits right as you pacify it before the system can take you out of combat. It could also happen if your chocobo is out since they'll keep attacking it even after its soothed. Try sheathing your weapon first then soothing.

I am pacifying correctly. The game says it is pacified and it stops attacking. I have tried this quest with and without my companion out. Makes no difference. Haven't tried sheathing my weapon first though this was never required in other permeations of this quest.

Yea i noticed a issue with this last night. The first three pacified fine but the last ones I had to get them down to 10% or less and then it finally pacified. But I kept getting frenzied at 20%. At first I thought I had to kill the other monsters first Not sure how I survived as an AST lol

Quite obviously I am not making myself clear enough. I have no trouble executing the pacify with /soothe. The Morbols show pacify. The game says they are pacified. At the same time the MOB will not drop from the engaged list and I cannot disengage from it by sheathing my weapon. Even if I runaway from it with my weapon sheathed it will still show my in combat while the MOB is still pacified. As such my healing is as if I were still in combat not resting. This is not right.

I've had that happen, but I can always finish the quest anyway - just need to pacify the rest.
