Server transfer question.

Hi Im thinking to move to a different server and I was reading on the help pages that you can only take with certain amount of gil. I was not able to find any information about how much that can be, also I was wondering what happens to the items stored in your room and what you cannot bring with you. I have a lot of seasonal items and I dont want to erase them.

You can take 1 mil with you. Also you'll have to demolish your room as far as I know, so take any items out and stuff then into a retainer

Make sure transfers are open on the server you want to go to first. Maybe make a character there just to check it out. High pop servers like Gilgamesh and Balmung are closed right now.

Thats true, I want to move to Famfrit or Excalibur so I will give it a try later on, thanks for the advice

Your retainers can carry 100k each too.

If you have more than 1.2m gil what you can do is create a new character on the server you're moving to. Inspect the market board there for items you can purchase on your current server to resell once you transfer ^^

1 mil on your character, 100k on each retainer.
I don't know about armoire items, but everything in your retainers will be brought with you.

Actually server transfers by passes the not being able to get on a closed server. So it dousnt mater if server ther going to transfer to is closed or not. The closed servers are only closed to character creation not server transfers.
