Triple Triad card packs

I've been trying to build a deck for this card game but I'm having a bit of trouble with it. I'm still under 30 cards so getting to that point is my goal atm.

Which brings us to my question: what's the drop rate in the packs you can buy from the vendor? I've bought like 10 silver packs and all I ever get is the Slyph card. Do some cards just drop more often (coughslyphcough) than others or do I just have incredibly terrible RNG luck?

It feels like I'm wasting my time and coins on the silver packs. =/

Trying to build through the packs is a total crapshoot, your best bet is to just fight your way through the ranks of NPCs collecting their respective card drops as you go. I played each one until I got their cards, then moved to the next. Almost all of the silver and gold pack cards can be obtained in other ways (NPCs, dungeons, etc).

See my signature, it reflects the drops quite right...

But, on my alt I managed to get 30 while not playing TT out of Gold Saucer (I only left there to get Shantotto card for the achievement). I won some platinum packs though.
