    Au Ra Visual Bugs

I've noticed two small but nonetheless annoying visual bugs with my Female Raen Au Ra in game. I've tried replicating these with other races but they exist only with the Au Ra.

The first concerns what I think is the wet clothing effect. When tested on other races using the same clothes, the wet effect would gradually disappear almost like a gradient as the character dried off. This happens with the Au Ra as well until you reach the midsection, where a line between wet and dry is drawn until the area is fully "dried off."

I've had a friend look and the line can be seen by players who aren't playing the Au Ra as well, so it's not merely a client-side bug.

The second bug I noticed happens when the character is standing in the White Mage change pose with the weapon drawn. On other female races the smile is a persistent facial expression, but on the Au Ra the eyes seem to be trying to loop between their smile expression and standard expression. You can see it if you look at this gif I'll link below.

Pay particular attention to the bottoms of her eyelids. It may be hard to notice between the blinking and the gif repeating, but it definitely doesn't look intentional.

In terms of the second one, I've had a similar glitch as both a Miqo'te and an Au Ra with the /hildy emote, in which the cheesy grin tries to go to the default resting expression, giving this sort of hilarious yet obviously broken "wincing" effect every few seconds. I'd go out on a limb and say it's related?

Could be! It certainly isn't the only time I've encountered some seemingly out of place animation in what is likely meant to be a persistent expression. I don't have high hopes of it being fixed in light of all the more pressing issues to work on but maybe someday they'll get around to addressing things like this.

For the second bug: Do you have changing idle animations enabled? That could be the source of the bug.

Good question! I don't actually, I use the standard default idle pose with no changing enabled.
