I have to give my thanks to Yoshi for his letter on the issues with the Mac version. I must say that I own FFXIV on every platform except PS3 (I upgraded) and bought the Mac version because who knows I might only have my Mac one day. When I first logged in I was horrified because it was barely playable. However, once again Yoshi-P came to the rescue he admitted the game's performance issues, took all responsibility for the issue, gave out refunds, and promised to re-release back on the platform once things are up to standards.

He is a designer/director/producer who actually care about his player base and goes out of his way to talk to us frequently answering our questions and making good on his promises. Things don't always go as planned but he's always out there doing something for us and keeping us in the loop. I really admire that a lot.

I'm a studying Game Designer with dreams of someday working at the Square-Enix headquarters in Japan as a designer and my goal is to be even half the designer Yoshi is. I've used him in my reports in school and constantly replay his presentation at the 2014 GDC. I'm already living in Japan and have one year left of college so hopefully I can keep pushing to meet my idol.

I don't know if he'll see this but I just wanted to say thank you for caring about your players and being a goal I can work toward as a future Game Designer. Hopefully one day I'll be able to work with you and everyone else at Square-Enix. Lol Man I feel corny...
