Which DPS is the most Fun to play?

Reading Rainbow here. I have limited amount of experience with DPS in FFXIV. I'll be honest, I do have a lvl 50 Smn, and I Have a lvl 45 Dragoon. But I've found them both to be complete snorefests. I Absolutely LOVE to play my warrior as all of its spells are satisfying visually, mechanically and auditory.

That said I AM Looking for a DPS Class to play. I don't know if I was just playing my goon wrong, but it was boring up till level 30 and then got boring again and then I got my first aoe and then it got boring again. SMN Just isn't what I thought it would be, Having played The Necromancer in the original Guild Wars and the Summoner in Allods online and then even the Spirit master in Aion, I guess i was just looking for something different and this Summoner just wasn't that. (Though I hear it is more fun at 60).

What DPS Would you guys say is the most Satisfying to play? The most fun? The Most Rewarding.

I was a 50 (now 51) scholar post patch, and leveled an astrologian (52) to play as a healer. While waiting for my friend to catch up a decided to level a Ninja (52) to instance with his DRK. I completely fell in love with the Ninja. They are the most fun I've ever had as a dps in any game ever.

I had a very nostalgic moment, while I was running around in a circle, with both my arms out, throwing knives at an opposing Ninja, it was a legit ninja battle! The second you hit level 45 and have Ten, Chi, Jin Ninjutsu, it's game on!

Prettymuch anything other than Machinist if you want the honest truth.

Machinists are so far behind in DPS, actual utility is extremely poor (which they supposedly traded their DPS for) and to top it all off you get kicked from party finder groups and other groups just because you are a machinist.

Personally I think MNK is the most fun to play. It's fast, relatively simple, you have a pretty effective heal buff you can put into spots as you deem fit, and in terms of DPS it's one of the highest so it's satisfying.

I think most DPS are very fun though. In ARR I would have said NIN isn't, but with how few times you have to deal with long Mudra lag in real fights I think it's a bit more satisfying to play as an NA player now.

MCH is really fun, just the damage isn't as rewarding.

Well personally I love Bard and always have found it fun....
um. For melee? Ninja all the way, the other melee classes are boring to me.
I also get some enjoyment out of BLM when I hit those big numbers...and I do like MCH since it's a lot of micromanaging (so far).

Im told that if your connection lags, you'd better forget about being a ninja. Is that true? Because I get some weird lag at times while playing, and I wanted to try being a ninja.

Mudra lag is definitely a thing. However, I don't think it is as bad as people make it out to be. I play on a DSL connection and ninja plays just dandy for me.

NIN is pretty OP right now... making me wonder how they can do what they did to BRD/MCH with a straight face with all the power they gave to NIN... I'm only 36 and it's just raping face left and right.

avoid ninja, depending of your connection mudra lag can be a fun killer, other point the jobs suffer some trouble, not as important that bard and machinist, but it's still a trouble that need to be adressed.

for the most fun, depend of what you like. be a ranged or a melee, burst or substain.

some jobs change totally with higher level, by example the monk combo system is not complet before 50. dragon become a beast at 60...
