Recruited friend can't access my world! >.<

So after MONTHS of convincing my friend, she finally decides to try the game. She finishes creating a character, come to find out she can't make a character on my world (Lamia). I'm really frustrated and bummed out. I wasn't sure where to post this, but I'm desperate. She doesn't wanna spend money on a transfer for when/if my world comes available.

When is she gonna be able to access my world? I get there is a lot of people on right now, but I've been looking forward to this for a VERY long time. Now that the moment has finally come, but she can't play with me, I'm really disappointed. Not sure on what I should have her do, considering we don't know when she will be able to access Lamia... Help?

She's probably just going to have to get up early in the morning and try to make a character then. Have her try around 8.00am EST.

Same issue here, I bought the game as a gift for my friend, but we're having issues getting her onto Brynhildr with me. At one point it was open for literally 5 minutes, having closed again by the time she had decided on a name.

Same exact thing here. My brother-in-law got the game to play with me and my husband and now Brynhildr is closed. Dx

Well, after seeing the server go open, clicking on it, entering her name ASAP, clicking create character, and getting the "Server closed" message, all within the space of a minute, my friend is convinced there's some issue with the servers and has gone to bed for the night.

Given that there's a "recruit a friend" campaign going on right now, the absolute chaos that seems to be what servers are open to character creation at a given time is entirely unacceptable. Even something as simple as "Open status will change every half hour" would at least let us know that if we check at xx:05 or xx:35, we can be confident we'd be able to make the character. Its a complete crapshoot right now that's preventing my friend from making a character to play with me, and if we cant resolve this soon it may end up being a lost subscriber for the game. This NEEDS to be resolved somehow.

Servers dont' stay open/closed for the enitre time between updates & change frequently. I know it's frustrating to have to keep on waiting/checking but other than paying for a server transfer it's all you can do :/

Have her save the character appearance data that she wants so she can create the character on the fly and get in.

I wasn't checking a website. Both of us were sitting at the world selection step of the character creation process, refreshing the list as soon as we were able to. As soon as the server showed up as open to her, she rushed in, typed in her name, and hit create character, and by that time the server had closed again.
