; ; It has already been stated you can do just that. In the same way I can pay someone to attach Materia, I can pay someone to power level me up to 25.
"ours" as in dol and doh only. it was tanakas vision to have a game were you can do anything and there were no restrictions. yoshi is in charge now and he has clearly said that dol and doh are no longer main classes and are secondary to battle classes.Yes, because renting a chocobo grants you the same benefits, right? The most important of which is being able to summon it anywhere, not merely in town, leaving you without a chocobo once you dismount. Do you have any idea how much more efficiently someone could gather if they did not have to slowly run to every nod? Yet, you cannot use a rental chocobo for this, now can you?
I thought you leveled a battle class to fight, not ride chocobos? Oh, but wait, a chocobo will make your experience more convenient? Well, guess what? It will make ours more convenient also. I actually cannot think of a better use for chocobos right now than gathering.
Please, give me one reason why allowing DoH/L to obtain a personal chocobo would negatively affect you as a battle class?
tht being said there is no "our" and "yours" anymore. If you cant adjust then you should probably play another game before you commit anymore time to a game that is gonna be mainly focused on battle, maybe farm tycoon or something like that.
you could easily meet the requirements for a choc before 1.19 even goes live if you start sometime soon. But i spent all my free time to level up two class. I gave fish and shards to my LS member, they are really happy about it. I'm really happy about it, too. I do my part in game to help, even i'm willing to level my archer to get my chocobo, i still feel something wrong about this. Why I need to do something I don't really like to get basic element like chocobo?
Maybe they are, or maybe not. There is no way that people can prove that only 1% of pure crafters and gatherers in game, so please don't use that number unless you can provide proof to it.
Does it matter? The arguements have been answered now, the only use for this thread from this point on is to provide constructive ideas on what they would like to see for DoL/DoH classes regarding chocobos in the future.
That number represents my best estimate of how many people are in that position.
It's a very small number, no matter whether you want to quibble or not. Because truthfully, you have to go REALLY out of your way, and make things difficult on yourself, not to have a single battle class leveled up to at least 20. You have to make a conscious effort to do so. I don't have much sympathy for folks who went so far out of their way to not participate in the vast majority of the game's content.
And, once again, I would note that the vast, vast majority of people arguing against this requirement have combat classes leveled up. Just like yourself...
I wanted to add, as well: did you use a bot, or multiple people playing the same account, to get r50 in so many crafts? I'm almost hoping you'll say yes; because the alternative is really depressing, man.
I'd rather like to know how he got Carpentry up to rank 50 whilst only having Botany at rank 34...That number represents my best estimate of how many people are in that position.

Veeeeeery suspicious.... *rubs chin*
Of course, it does matter. If I said there are 99% of pure crafters & gatherers, and dev team buy it. They may change the game direction to DOL/DOH. Are you happy to see that happen? When he said only 1% of pure crafters & gatherers, some mindless people may think that only 1% of people in game, maybe it is not wroth to give the content to them. And that is why it does matter.
there are battle bots you know? This game has released for a year already. Many people already reach cap on all classes .That number represents my best estimate of how many people are in that position.
