Giant Ifrit Egi?

So I haven't been able to find this on the forums yet but I still can't seem to find out how to enlarge your egi sizes. As you can see in the benchmark trailer the Summoner's Ifrit Egi is HUGE! https://youtu.be/RGOIF_7vuLw?t=399

I finally hit lvl 60 on my Summoner and none of my skills (Spur, Rouse, Enkindle, Dreadwyrm Trance) increases it's size. I know that I fought large versions of the egis during the Job quests but do we ever get one? Has anyone figured out how to get a larger egi or is it possible it won't be implemented until the egi glamour system is implemented?

That actually is huge.

It would be quite quite... nice if it shows us that with egi glamors we will also get BIGGER egi as options in the glamor. As in the egi we can glamor our egi to won't be restricted to being so small. Perhaps this is just optimism though and it's just advertisement so people see it. Then again on that note why didn't they do that with the fairy as well?

I personally hope it shows that in the future with egi glamors that we will also get options for glamors that aren't so small.

I apologize if this sounds mean or rude, but I was always of the belief that Ifrit's appearance in the benchmark trailer was a trick of the camera at best, or intentionally done to promote the game at worst, so I would say don't get your hopes up. A very, very long time ago the developers said they have no intentions of making Egi any bigger, so I find it hard to imagine they would go back on that now by making larger glamours.

I'm well aware of that, and that point was brought up many times since the game's release. Still, the developers said that we, as players, will not get larger Egi. Will they go back on that statement? That's left to be seen.

Don't worry I don't believe you're coming off as rude. I will admit that was my first thought too when I saw the video, but the more I watch it the more I feel like it isn't, Ifrit Egi is shown from many different camera angles and I believe it is actually standing right next to the Warrior in the back, and with that perspective in mind Ifrit Egi is indeed huge!

If at worst it's done to promote how Ifrit Egi will be more viable now then that is saddening

You confused me because of this:

So i was pointing out that those models at least exist and was likely not a trick of the camera, but more of them... using the big models for some reason (I imagine so people could see them more clearly?). Not remarking that they'll add them of course, Yoshi does not want.

I think the only reason why ifrit is that big is so that he's more visible in the crowd.
