whenever i try to start any groups /linkshells for progression there are very few applicants.it seems if you are not killing latest bosses you are hopeless to find anyone willing to try older content,i feel like if you're not in ishgard you can just forget about it
extreme primals are hopeless,i tried billion times in df .they require so much coordination it's ridiculous...

Most people just do stuff with their Free Company's or Link Shells, it's far from dead.

I can say older content is rather dead, but it isn't because of ishgard its because its old.
Even when Ramuh Ex and Shiva came about ....finding a party for the older primals were non existent due to the loot they dropped
Pony farming is over as either by now you have them or you don't.
Most players are to caught up in trying to catch up with newer stuff to even indulge in the older primals
Other players are trying to down the new primals that actually give them an edge before Alexander.
ARR maps are dead, HW isn't dead
