I agree, the community is pretty toxic and expect carries and everything to hand it to them instead of forming their own group wanting to learn, pretty much the epitome of SJW like mentality right there.

You agree that the community is pretty toxic yet fail to grasp that your previous post showed you to be one of the most toxic based on the fact you view other people as abnormal/worthless and admitted you want a huge group of people dead just because you do not like them...that's a pretty damn toxic ideology if you ask me. Also again with you blaming SJW for endgame toxicity in PF groups? SJW is as relevant to the topic as blaming pixies, leprechauns, the Nazi's or North Korea. None of them have anything to do with the topic being discussed here. By the way I am still waiting on a response to my previous post that questioned your definition of 'normal' human being.

Yeah it's a problem for those of us who play for fun. I play with a close group of friends and truth be told we are not all that good at some thing be was learn fast. I hate the "get good" attitude and the "LOLZ U WANT 2 BE CARRIED" thing I see. *shrugs* I'll just have fun with other content then.

This thread is ridiculous. Every online MMO is gonna have "toxic" players. Expecting everyone on the internet to be nice people is just as stupid as expecting everyone in real life to be nice people. If you don't like those PF entries, don't join them. Go make your own PF, because you have every right to make your own PF as those people do. I'm 100% sure there's other likeminded players that are willing to progress through content the same way you want to.

Didn't we have these same discussions involving Titan EX over a year ago? They introduced an issue that shouldn't exist by letting people DF extreme fights. Unless you are running with a premade of competent people you know, you're asking for hell trying to PF or DF it. You'll get stuck in a revolving door type situation where tired players exit and new players enter, leaving you incapable of victory. MMORPG end game introduced early in the second millennium sucks when mixed with ease of access tools because those encounters were never made to be done by anything other than a premade group. Yoshida is of the school of MMORPG thought where they try to make everyone happy. Unfortunately, trying to make everyone happy is pointless idealism when the design requirements to do so for each group are polar opposites.

So, post rant point: You'll need a premade group of friends/free company members to handle these fights. From personal experience, trying to do otherwise will just leave you burned and angry.

I disagree. I've successfully cleared T1-7 and most of the EX Primals (Garuda, Ifrit, Leviathan, Shiva) in DF; most of those clears had at least two people who had never cleared the fight before. Of those, I've seen one-shots of T1-4, T6, T7, and all of the listed EX Primals. It's entirely possible to get a decent group in DF-- heck, my first time in T13 was in DF and we managed to get almost to Teraflare.

I've also had terrible groups. It's a toss-up as to which you'll get, but DF clears are actually fairly common in my experience.

That's kinda why I moved to a JP server.
The progression is better, NA players are some of the most nastiest people you'll ever meet, elitist as hell too, atleast in DF.
Never got past Titan EX or T5 in Gilgamesh, moved to Tonberry did the content just fine.

It's not an issue of being friendly or not. Here at tonberry, or at least the majority of us believe in using the df and pf in a completely opposite way of how EN servers do things.

The logic is simple: we don't inconvenience others in df by going in to learn because that's supposed to be the more convenient method of looking for clears.

If we want to learn, we use the pf. Most of the times after a certain trial is released to the df, it's not as impossible to clear as EN servers seem to think simply because of the different methods in which we use to learn content.
