The people who have already spent countless hours learning a fight for the most part don't want to spend countless additional hours to help a random person learn the fight.

The best bet for learning parties is to ask in your FC or make a LS, or your own Party Finder.

I don't think its about greed its more about not wanting to suffer through learning a fight again. lets be honest most dont find it fun wiping for hours and hours a second time

That said, for individuals who have cleared it before but perform poorly, then thats a whole other issue...

A farm party is meant to consistently be victorious and not wipe alot.. if you join a farm party but are not confident you can execute up to par, then dont be upset when people get mad and replace.

Let's not exaggerate here: you clear it once after a couple hours of attempts and you are eligible to join the ranks of these "elite" farm parties.

No one has ever spent "countless hours" learning an EX primal fight.

Poeple really shouldn't be looking to get their first clears in a farm party. Those all sound like farm parties.

The whole if you die, you're out mentality is completely retarded ontop of that, these fights are a little over a week old and people are just starting to hit endgame that didn't rush to 60.
If I have something on farm and I'm looking to run it repeatedly, babysitting someone through their first clear can be counterproductive. Farming means you down it repeatedly with a minimum of fuss. As someone that enjoys helping people learn and clear content, I'll say that there's a time and a place for learning. I see learning parties all over party finder. If all else fails, make a learning party and people that are just like you will join. Many times, veteran players will join to help out too. You absolutely 100% do not join someone's farm party to learn, though. That's only doing two things: wrecking their party and shooting yourself in the foot. Farm parties that don't clear fast end up breaking up, and the person that was trying to farm isn't going to be very happy with you if that happens. If they were ever inclined to help you learn, they more than likely won't be if you're the cause of their party failing.

Even if it's not someone's first time in there and they're just being bad at the fight for whatever reason (lag, distractions, etc), that's still keeping the party from doing what they want to do - farm the fight. If I have a PF up for a specific goal and one person is preventing the other seven players from fulfilling that goal, then there's two choices: that person either steps it up or they get replaced. The only alternative is to disband.

(Unlike me.. /cough ) But seriously? I've beat Bismark EX once, and it was at ilvl 160, and we had no serious issues, took a couple of tries, but we did fine, now people just seem to be wanting a group to easily carry them through these primal battles? I tried one of the Ravana EX groups earlier (One with the 3 strike rule) Leader died 8 times and was probably the worst geared of everyone there.
Sounds like the leader was the one looking for a carry. It happens.

Nope, it's not just Balmung. This kind of attitude is all over, at least on North America's servers.

So... make your own group? I'm confused. If you don't like the group and its rules, don't join it. Simple.

I'm confused too. Farm parties can't stop someone from making a learning party. So why can't people just make their own group? I've made learning parties before. It's not difficult... and when content is still this new learn parties fill very, very quickly.

The 20 people that liked your post are doing the same thing you're doing, not taking into account for things even with making your own group. Making your own groups are also subject to toxicity as you could end up not finding anyone, or they will be impatient and leave. And even then you can have those put off a bit by your newness, and drop at the first sign of death(pun intended).

    Be more considerate.

Don't be so dramatic, nobody leaves after a single wipe unless the party is doing obvious mistakes on a party advertised as farm.
Parties advertised as learning or progression will only have people leaving after 3+ wipes of obvious constant mistakes or 0 progression past the phase advertised on PF (ie advertise phase 4 but keep wiping on phase 2).
About not finding anyone, there's always that risk and that's why people make statics so they set up a time to challenge a raid rather than waste hours on PF waiting for certain classes.

Sooo.... would it be considerate to join a farm group, know you dont have it on farm and causing it to fail? Of cousre not, those who have already put in the time tonhave it on farm have the responability to carry you through... they say the word entitlement gets thrown around a bit easily on video game forms, but maybe its the most fitting place for it.

    Be more considerate.

I think you are missing the point, subject is end game has lots of ass holes, and PF is just used as an example.
