Well Krylo, you have to take in mind that if the dps are bad, they're gonna die because of aoe/mechanics (like attacking the wrong snake).

Eh, in my experience a lot of people who do really bad DPS still manage to avoid things and do mechanics fine. A lot of people doing poor dps do so because they just don't grok the rotation, and, further, don't KNOW they're doing it wrong because no one has told them otherwise and it's not always super obvious what the rotation should be (black mages especially, as their rotations are a bit less obvious, in general--like it's pretty counter intuitive that you'd not bother using thunder procs during enochian because of the threat of enochian falling off and it messing up your entire rotation).

In my own runs I've seen the underperforming DPS survive to the failed check most of the time.

I mean, if they're just bad at EVERYTHING, well, then, it's your PF and at that point you can just be like 'listen you keep messing up mechanics, and I'm sorry but I'm going to need to replace you'. Which is another advantage of making your own.

This stuff is as old as time itself. This is literally nothing new expect now it's new content with the same
asinine conditions with junk being out less than a week and people who didn't piss or eat for 2 days

Most of the time, the people who ask for insane conditions are bad themselves and want others to carry them. Thus why most DF groups disband after 2 wipes.

Tbh, they can set up their own group how ever they like. I think you are the one in the wrong for thinking that they are bad people for not carrying you.

Maybe they do teah other times, they could have had a long day and just want smooth runs. Maybe they just want smooth runs regardless of thier day. It not upnto them to have frustration in their relaxation time just because you want a ggod group to carry you. That you think so is more than a little selfish. Yes setting up your own team is a solution, and the best one. Clearly state what you are looking for and stand by it. If enough are looking for that, you will get a group.

Do you have any idea how annoying it is to have a couple of people who are looking for a carry to sneak into your group, that you spent almost an hour setting up, only to make it fail and disband? Do you realize how common it is for this to happen?

Maybe I'm out of touch, but last I checked, this was a video game not a heart transplant.

I'd like to see SE remove the descriptions from PF and observe what happens to the community... We'd really see some abuse reports then.

The problem is most player are in this rushing hype train...
They want to complete everything asap like we're facing the big armageddon next month.
All I can say is form your own trusted party for endgame content.

This is a problem borne of the design of end game encounters. These challenges are not supposed to be something that a random group are supposed to tackle: the people who primarily thrive off random grouping haven't grown socially enough to do so. In fact, a majority of people probably don't even want to or have too little time to devote to move towards the needed level of social play.

The only thing that gets me is the expansion hasn't even been (officially) live for two full weeks yet! I can't say that I'm surprised, but they beat my projections.

I kinda hate these groups too and even if I can do the fight without making mistakes I wouldnt join PFs like that.

I have a linkshell with really skilled players and they are friendly and will gladly teach me new fights. I learn after a wipe or two anywya.

But this is my way to avoid the mean PFs. See if you can find LS for end game content or make one yourself and invite skilled plyers!

Can't believe people are still bitching about this crap. Most of those elitist PFs are full of people who don't have a flippin clue what they're doing. They are usually learning parties in disguise.

If it bothers someone that much, be proactive and figure out a way to lead a group. Stop being a sheep.
