Agree, and people that doesnt know the mechanic of the whole fight see a farm party and a learning party and select the farming one. Failing because you make a mistake isnt a problem, fail because you think nobody will notice your mistake its the real problem. After having been in countless farm parties that fell apart because people who obviously didn't have the fight on farm tried to sneak in, I don't blame them. It gets frustrating to try to farm a fight only to have every party disband because people are screwing up on basic mechanics.
People really need to be more realistic about how well they know the fight. Clearing it once does not automatically mean you're capable of farming it, yet a lot of people seem to act like they can hop straight into farm parties after a clear. Can you in some cases? Sure. But not in all, and people need to honestly assess their comfort level with a fight before they just blithely join a farm.

I have never opened Party Finder. If I want jerks around me, I can get them for free on the street or at work, without paying a monthly fee for that. :P

I've never used the party finder, I also have no FC :/
Not that I don't get spammed by invites every few hours, there is no way in hell I would join something spammed to me.
This is starting to get a thing now. People want a PF system with all sorts of groups. When there is no group for them to join, "toxicity" and "elitism" are words often used.
Just a reminder: part of an MMO is to friend people you like playing with. Another convenient thing to do is to create your own group in PF or maybe just invite people from Linkshells you're in with.
Seems like the comments you used as an example of toxicity, are from people actually showing initiative. They don't want to carry someone thus they make sure it's clear what group you would join. I don't see the harm in that...

They have learning parties on famfrit at least, but the ilevel requirement is still mostly out of reach.
I don't bother with PF. Some of the comments are just sadly hilarious.
There was a lot of this when 2.0 originally launched.... These people tend to move on when they get bored. It will get better over time.
Tis kinda toxic to say " this game is toxic" simply because none of the PF groups suit you. Get a static of people you like, or join a linkshell of people tackling extremes atm or join an fc. You will hate this game if you rely on pf.
I am kind of annoyed at the EX primals because we have no other methods to gain equivalent gear like relic weapon.
I am appauled at the fact I can't get top grade gear because my parties DO HOLD ME BACK. I never would make a PF group nor do I share their ridiculous "elitist" mentality as I think it is cocky and disgusting at best, but I am personally able to share some of their... disappointment in groups.
I have yet to beat Bismark Ex, not for a lack of MY contribution, hell I even lay down DoTs when I can between healing... but there is NOTHING I can do to get myself through it. It is a giant DPS check and makes me as a healer main feel helpless.
At this point I am going to just level MCH to 60 and farm Alex later. This ridiculous EX Primal only to get the i190 weapon has me so turned off of the game I am better off to just level my unviable DPS I wish was viable.
If you're as good as you say you are, make a clear party in PF yourself with only one heal slot and 5 DPS slots. Then solo-heal it. Bismark doesn't have that much damage going out if the tanks are halfway decent with the necessary swaps, and with 5 DPS slots, about 3 of your DPS can basically be awful and still average out to the same DPS as four decent-good DPS.
Well Krylo, you have to take in mind that if the dps are bad, they're gonna die because of aoe/mechanics (like attacking the wrong snake).
But I do see your point![]()
