Selene now in intelligent Silencer?

So I was doing my daily marks today with Selene on Sic - and to my surprise the enemy went into a move that charged and she silenced it. in 2.0 I never really did soloing on my SCH, and in raids I have her on Obey - did her AI always allow her to do that? A Silence free from human error could be nifty.

tbh I think selene was always a smart silencer providing she was in range.

I noticed my chocobo also got a little smarter.

He's stunning useful stuff instead of spamming stun at random times.

Wonder if SMN pets are more intelligent too about stuns.

Prior to 3.0 she would attempt to silence any move with a cast bar, provided she was in range and not on cool down, regardless of whether or not it could be silenced.

I don't know if it's been changed so she's "smarter" or she just used it on a move that could actually be silenced, but I suspect the latter. Pets left to their own devices has thus far not been very intelligent.

I also noticed my Garuda-egi got a bit smarter with her Contagions; when opening, she actually waits for all 3 of my DoTs to be on the target before blowing it....however during fights it seems she just waits for you to cast the Instant Bio before using it :X

That would be awesome if she is. She certainly wasn't before. She would just blow every cooldown as soon as it was available, just like every pet did with every ability. Does she do that on Obey, or only on Sic?

Selene always seemed to use silence at the right times for me but I only ever used her in Crystal Tower raids so who knows.

I know for a fact that she can't use her new aoe esuna for crap. She keeps blowing it on stuff that can't be cleansed and I've seen her blow it when people have the debuff from being raised.

Sic is still terrible.

Selene sic is actually worse than before due to Fey Glow and Light being reworked into a single ability with 50% uptime and Fey Caress Being introduced.
