    So where did everybody go?

Is the thrill over, I guess everybody ripped through the expansion and off to bigger and better things...

No ques at all and if there is one its like in the lower 20's. Zones are really quiet...No reason really to have the multiple instances and afk kick anymore.

    Anyway I'm still having fun

I was getting a 5-30 player queue every time I logged in ever since Early Access, and this did not change in the slightest.

The ques are in part because SE did make sure to be prepared for opening proper. Pretty much it depends on where you go...I assume N.Than fates are just as popular on Balmung as they are on Gilgamesh. Ques are still at most 15 minutes for DPS, usually lower.

I'm also getting a 20 something person queue every time I log in.

I think part of the emptiness can be attributed to the instance thing they did. When the exp first dropped there were tons of people all over doing things and the world felt alive, but since they added instances the zones feel awkwardly empty (the instances are terrible all around) and I'm not enjoying it.

I don't have any trouble with queue times at all still. But I'm a healer. It's been instant pop for me ever since 3.0 started. What job are you

Just realized you meant the log in queue. I think the big congestion was people like me taking vacation to play for early access but as our vacation runs out we return to our jobs. I think we are all still there, we just can't be binge playing like we did because we went back to work

People are finding the best ways to make use of their time currently. As Dual stated, North Thanalan FATE grinding is just as real as ever. I've seen people ding 55 out there just because its consistent. I usually log in to do my daily roulette and tinker with one of the new jobs as well as gather some things. I knew the HQ quest items would sell big and then would slowly dwindle down after a few weeks. Still trying to save up some more gil.

I miss the first few days of early access. DPS ques were instant and tanks and healers had to wait for 30-40 minutes at a time. They finally knew our suffering, mwhahahahaha!

In more current terms though, DPS ques are back up to 15-30 minutes on the roulettes during prime time on my server, and the Hunt swarms have more or less died down. I spotted an A rank earlier in the Churning Mists, and when I shouted about it, no one replied. A few minutes later I saw someone else shouting "Seriously? No one is coming for the A rank?". They got about two replies. I passed by that area again about five minutes later and saw around 8-10 people waiting to take it on, which is a far cry from the S rank level crowds swarming them during the first week.......

My guess is that the rush of excitement has died down, and other players are either trying to level their secondary classes with FATE grinding, are only running the level 60 content, or are like me and taking a break from doing the MSQ and dungeons to level up their DoH/DoL class of choice. I'm sure the crowds will flare up again when the raid is released though.......

Personally, I hope the afk kick stays.
