It probably has been asked before but I cannot find it.

When I put my cursor on one of the items on my quickbar say to fire a blizzard or whatever, then a big box comes up telling me all about the blizzard skill. This means in the middle of a fight I suddenly have at least half of my skills on quickbar not seeable because the stupid box for Blizzard covers it all.

This is also really bad for my healer char. I cannot see the icons on the left or right on quickbar because the box for one of the skills that I am using is on the way. I also never can see how much health I still have.

That explanatory box also appears when say you are doing crafting and the list to craft comes up. But you cannot see the list because the stupid explanatory box covers 2/3rd of the menu.

I hope this explains what I mean. Is there somewhere where you can switch off that explanatory box or at least make it smaller?

You can make it so it is in a fixed place on your UI and not beside the icon, same with item descriptions and such.

First things first, under the system tab open HUD Layout, find the boxes, "item help" and "action help" and place them wherever you'd like them to be and save.

Then under "Character Configuration" select "UI settings" and look under the "General" tab.

About half way down you will see "Help" under that "position" with a drop down menu next to it. Set it to "Fixed" in the drop down menu and it will now only appear wherever you moved the box to in HUD layout.
