There is no way to circumvent this because it wouldn't make any sense at all lore wise. The story explains thoroughly why you can't go to Ishgard before a certain point in the story.
On top of that: it was announced several months in advance that you'll need to have the storyline completed to go to the new areas.

OP is a new player. Even though this is the case, it hardly makes a difference for people who weren't around and level 50 before Heavensward.

So far IV yet to get a single rmt tell in game its so wonderful.

Lucky. I've ignored around 40 RMT characters since the expansion released. It was quiet for a few days, during Early Access, but that didn't last.

Even so, I'm just thankful that the number of RMT tells I'm getting is much reduced, and I've yet to get a single RMT friend request since the expansion.
