That's not to say you won't need a few to meet minimum tank buster requirements for Savage though. So it's a good idea to stack up on those also just in case.

This isn't true. Having tanked both Bismark EX and Ravana EX many times, there is reason enough to use VIT accessories. You can swap out for STR depending on healers, but VIT makes things MUCH easier. You generally need STR accessories if you're having to carry poor DPS at this point.

Titan ifrit and Garuda were harder at i90

BIS ex allows the use of Stacked CDs for the adds so you should take very little damage.

Ravana just stands there 50% of the fight.

WAR has more CDs available lol......but I main PLD and WAR thank you, I'm just casual besides raiding, so I haven't lvled WAR to 60 yet and my current raid group has me playing PLD.

I'm talking DRK, I'm a tank main. At the moment, tanking the serpent adds in Bismark EX in full STR accessories as anything but PLD is gonna make your healers sweat a little. Even MT'ing Ravana EX, I use almost all VIT since the healers I've been going with prefer the OT to soak blades with me rather than whole pt, and OTs aren't always 100% reliable. With full VIT, I can soak a blade by myself if need be, and when you got a PUG full of people taking pointless damage, it helps the healers out quite a bit.
