    [MCH] DPS in bismark ex

I joined a ilvl 170 minimum required for bismark ex with MNK, DRG, BLM and me, MCH. The pt did not get pass the first phase as the dps cannot break the shell with one shot and I got kick out of pt.

My dps at that time is : 571 for ilvl 172
    DRG is 700+
    BLm is 600+

the leader of the PT say he had a MCH do 800 dps in that fight. So what can I do to get 800 dps in bismakr ex.

What I usually do is use HE on the first 2 adds and on shell:

blood for blood, hot shot, hyper charge, raging strike, lead shot, reload, split, wild, slug, split, resemble, clean, blank, slug, clean

    or should I use GB

and pop all CD + hyper charge and use rapid fire to do split, gauss shot, slug, resemble, clean, ricochet

you can have gb on till the first back break after that and you have 3 seconds left on your dot you have room to reattach it for a burst every time the back is open to attack.
the worms is probably the harder part as you need sustain dmg. it is ok to use your cds for the glow wurms. other then that the gb should be off the rest of the fight outside waiting for your dots(the ones you get from standing on bismarck) to go off right before getting on the back so you can use ricochet and gauss round on the back etc.

but ya if your fc can't help you get a clear, you probably still won't be able to get a clear with a pug.

I've clear both ex bismarck and ravana ex the same day

Its probable that 800 Parse was before the hotfix on Rapid Fire, btw.

ok fight starts adds pop up you should have gb on already this part is easy as hell.
adds dead boss is about to be capable of being attack.
everyone blows everything on it and take off your gb when its done.
worms up kill them avoid shit follow mechanics use your cds as soon as they come off for this part.
    next phase adds kill them
boss is capable of being attack don't turn on gb unless the adds are dead and boss is isn't to the island yet.
nuke boss blow cds get off before when he stirs.
    kill adds follow weather mechanics.
now this is when you'll have the boss's dot on you and this is the time you can use because you can't get on the boss yet to reattach gb and use your cds for back phase every time. rinse and repeat and that is how I basically play mch for that fight.

It is impossible for mch to do 800+ in that fight. Even monk doing around 800 ish with all the mechanic.

MCH has a hard time doing 800 on targetting dummy.

I did Bis in GB the whole time, didn't have much issue (once we had connection issues taken care of). Comp was Pld, War, Wtm, Sch, Mch, Blm, Blm, Drg. We were able to get the shell down before 3 stacks. This was a pf group, so no more organized than any other.

I killed BIS EX yesterday for my first time as a MCH. Came out as 2nd highest DPS in most of the attempts (except for one), above the BRD, BLM, DRG and beaten by the Ninja (we made 2 different parties).
My max DPS was 626 in that fight (Im on PS4, so a guy ran the numbers for me. Not sure he counted the turret dmg or not though), which I dont think it was a bad value but I did messed up some hot shots and GB-windows in phase 3 because I don't have enough practice on it yet. Certainly there's room for improvment.

My point being: In my opinion, if you are doing +700 dmg as a MCH in that fight then u are doing VERY well! I do agree with Arkenne when he justifies the +800 MCH dmg has being pre-hotfix when we have RF + GB. If you do +600 then you are doing a decent job in ur DPS in that fight.

If anyone has an opinion about all this pls say it, I do want to learn more
