Looking for imput on gearing for a new player, who does not have high/expert dutys

basically topic but heres the circumstances


so basically what im asking for someone in my circumstance(been playing 2 weeks focused just on MSQ to be expac ready) where i need to unlock and do 12 dungeons on the list for high roulette, would i be better off just doing the two lvl 60 dungeons i can and farming law in a dungeon?

Because i mean some of the quest involved in unlocking the dungeons themselves is a few with about 12 to do thats alot, not sure whats more efficient., to grind the 2 lvl 60 dungeons for law instead of taking the time to unlock high level roulette for the extra 100 a day

In the time it takes me to unlock all those dungeons and have the abilitiy to run it once a day for the extra 100, how many law tomes could i have just grinded and geared myself that way?

You could always unlock the dungeons while waiting for queues to pop ^^

If you are going to run dungeons none stop, just unlock the two 60 dungeons. Thats 80 guarenteed, an extra 80 for the roloutte, and another 40 with a newbie. If you are wanting a bit more extra, or if you only have time to run a couple dungeons, getting Hard unlocked eventually could do you some good since it gives 100 for completing it, and if you get in progress even better since you get the full 100 either way since its just completion.

The A and S rank hunts give Law, though not as much as just running dungeons over and over unless you get a really lucky string of hunts going. That said its decent enough that if you are mainly going for the seals, you'll also get a good bit of Law.

I honestly don't remember if you HAVE to run the dungeon to unlock it for the roloutte, I don't think so, but yeah while waiting for your Expert queus you can go around unlocking them as well.

I wonder if it might be faster to "clear" the missing lv 50 dungeons for the first time using a three-man undersized level 60 party. With two friends, I'd bet you would be done with all of the level 50 dungeons in an hour or two. Of course, I have no idea if you can use an undersized party for your first clear or not.

Im pretty sure unlocking the hard modes requires more than just 1 quest being done, that was my point in the time it takes to do all the quests to unlock the 12 dungeons, for the extra 100 a day, am i better off just farming the 2 60 dungeons, and doing my 2 roulettes?

if unlocking hard modes was just a quest id do those real quick easy pz

Well doing the running around and unlocking won't take long while your waiting in Que, unless you are a healer/tank since those are usually instant. But if you were seriously going to farm all day you'd just do the two dungeons from Extreme anyways.

hard mode dungeons only give poetics so.... Honestly, I wouldn't bother. the 100 roulette bonus isn't worth the time even with them all unlocked, IMO.
