How about no. I have my effects set so that I see no skill effects outside of my own party yet Darkside completely ignores the filter, so no matter where I go Edgy McEdgeson is afk with the aura on for no reason and cluttering my screen. It's obnoxious.

That aura is so annoying I don't even want to learn that job ever. It is so annoying in town that I just want to /slap every Dork Knight I see. It's too big and obnoxious and I want to be able to filter if out.

They've already stated Darkside is working as intended. Every job has something annoying about it. I get tired of hearing Hyur screams during battle and hearing/seeing monks build up Chakra. I agree they should allow it to be filtered with other effects, but you shouldn't hate on those playing the class because it's not.

They should turn it off in town at the very least - instead of annoying people with it.

I don't think its my intent to be annoying to anyone. I can't speak for all, but it is just something I don't think about when I leave a duty. If someone said "hey you are annoying me with that Darkside effect, can you please turn it off", then I would have no issue turning it off.

You mean the bug report? Meh. They also moved the bug report of the achievement you get after completing "I Believe I Can Fly" to working as intended section so I still have hope.
