    Cross class skills will never be a true choice the way they are now.
    We are limited to a fixed number of slots, and that implies that all skills would need to have the same value - which they don't.

    So it's not a matter of adding more. It won't fix the problem, it'll merely hide it for a while.

    Cross class skills need to use a point-allocation system.
    It's a simple transition - instead of X slots, you get Y points.
    Then, SE can give each skill a value that closely resembles its overall usefulness, and thus make your choices real choices.
    This cost may even vary between class/job, because a single skill won't be equally valuable to all classes/jobs.
    Example: If your "cross-class skill capacity" is 20, and you equip a skill worth 6 points to your class/job, you are now at 6/20.
