Do you think she's dead? watching her sacrifice herself to save us from the Garleans was gut-wrenching, especially after watching her character develop during the journey to stop Nidhoggs attack.
I'm hoping they'll bring her back, because to be honest she's my favourite NPC in the game right now. Do you think it's the end of Lady Iceheart?

We saw her body break apart into its constituent aether just like Nidhogg and others. She's dead.

While sad, it was also made awkward by the fact that she kept posing for the camera while fighting the garlean ship.

Then again, by the rules of Japanese television/games, if there isn't a dead body, there's a chance they're not dead, at least not permanently. Even with a dead body, it's not concrete apparently.

I agree. When a storyteller can't commit to writing their characters out of something, the work loses integrity. Finding ways to bring people back from the 'not dead for REALLY real' is about the worst storytelling I can think of.

But yes. I think it's good that we have real, meaningful, sad deaths. I was quite upset they kept bringing people back.
