I am planning on joining UD, but I may change my mind pending on what drops are offered where. Eventually, SE will allow to switch companies, so this would only be a temporary thing.

I have a feeling the items will become sold at every grand company or atleast closely similar ones and you will buy the gear with seals like your badges or justic points in wow and get the good gear from raids....i wouldnt worry about the gear id worry about the seals (plus i figure there will be more content other than caravans in the future to get seals from)
Also dont chose for gear because you will be playing multiple classes....

did you know that you can join all 3 companies? I did.

Only as a provisional recruit. If there was a number attached to that rank it would be 0 or -1.
I would actually Love to sign up with the flame full time. But until we know what the improved reward lists are going to look like i cant say for sure, I am a sell sword adventurer after all.

If only airships would fix city distribution.
Going LL, with the waiting for MSK and its job counterpart (COR hopefully)...With instant airships there will be a lot more people in each town.
My 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.

screw Ul'dah's conveniences, I'm goin maelstrom. The only reason U'ldah is the center of the world is because people decided that. If you want to join a particular company, then do so, daring to be different may even help balance the markets.

Please everyone, don't pick Ul'dah if you really don't want to. I genuinely like it and it sucks having to hear everyone hate on it haha
You have airships and can do quests and company leves with other people so no excuses!
