    Parry remains a stat that no tanks seem to want on their gear, despite being the 'tanking stat'. Are there any plans to improve parry rate or replace it with a new tanking mechanism? Parries issues are...

    1) A completely useless stat when you are off tanking or soloing, useless in easier content
    2) Too rng based, its total mitigation is largely irrelevant in fights (about 20 parry rating=1% chance to mitigate CERTAIN attacks for 20% damage. So your 80 parry rating on pants=.8% mitigation on certain attacks. The mitigation difference between a full parry build and no parry is about 2% mitigation against such attacks.

    Secondly with the introduction of a Discipline of War class that is CASTING spells (with cast bars) will you review
    1) Casting interruption
    2) Shields not being able to block during spell casting. Paladins, White Mages and Black Mages can all equip shields, and are all spell casters (to varying degrees) yet none can use their shield during a casting animation.

    Vitality is another stat that tanks only equip 'as much as needed' and then go for either melded accesories or dps accesories, something you see in no other role in FFXIV. Will tanking accessories be updated, maybe to give some amount of vitality AND strength (say, 60% of the total value?) such that tanks are not having to buy 2 sets of accessories due to the nature of needing 1 set of gear on progression and another on farm, where other roles merely equip the best gear for their role (Heal throughput, damage, etc).
