    To bounce on that issue of Hideyuki KASUGA (Technical Director and Lead Programmer) :

    As an MMORPG, FFXIV has to display many complex objects at once, and as such it is unavoidably demanding on systems.
    - Knowing the advantages of DirectX 12 with respect to this issue on DirectX 9.0c / DirectX 11
    - Given your work in close collaboration with Microsoft and NVIDIA on this DirectX 12 tech demo : http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2015/04/30/build-demo/

    Does a carry FF XIV to DirectX 12 is expected ?

    Alexander is fun I love full party stuff but now there's a problem.

    Its too short
    you did the exact same thing as with coil only you put trash on the way to the boss ( thank you for that by the way I like trash )

    But it's still too short why didn't you just put them together in one big dungeon instead of 4 separate instances?

    Also the token drops while good youv failed to put exactly what they go towards in the item description sure I could just go to the vender and see what I need ahead of time but really why would you not put this since you need so many of 1 to get a piece of gear and on that note why no gear drops in it?

    But my main problem is its too short.

    I understand that every thing must go in the duty finder eventually but I think that your leting the duty finder ruin what could be very epic and fun dungeons because they need a set timer and they need to be able to be cleared in that time.

    My suggestion

    Youv made epic and hard dungeons in 1.0 and these wernt face rolled where people could just mesh together and clear they required team work real team work and they had multiple bosses to them.

    Please go back and look at those dungeons from 1.0 learn from them I know you can deliver the real raid like experience ( I know they weren't raids but their better than what we have now.) and I know it has to again eventually go in duty finder.

    2nd suggestion

    They have to go in duty finder eventually I know but have a weaker version of the duty go in and have them give less stuff because it's a weaker version.
    But have it be that if you go in as a full premade you get much better stuff and more of it.

    That way it can be properly balanced based on preferences of play style.

    short summary of the above.

    Go back look over your designs of 1.0 dungeons these are good.

    Duty finder stuff.

    not full party qu in duty finder = less rewards.
    Full party = more rewards.

    Dark Knights are in a weird place right now. A lot of players enjoy the playstyle but at the same time the general consensus is that they are not competitive in either MT or OT positions. Are there any plans to improve dark knights and do you envision any improvements to be done before Savage Alexander to allow for Dark Knights to have a place in raid groups?

    Can we see add on support sometime in the near future? As a crafter, gatherer, and dps I find I have to keep having to write more and more things down on paper or use a website because there is no way to keep track of these things in-game.

    Crafting: Mainly rotations (that I can't trust to a macro) and gear progression plans an in game notebook would suffice here

    Gathering: Node times, it'd be nice to be able to put up in-game reminders for the nodes I've already found.

    DPS: I am trying to refine my dps rotation for things like Bismark EX breaking etc. and it's very hard to determine whether I do more or less damage without an in-game dps meter. It would be fine if it was only for personal usage/viewership, but a dps meter or addon support would be very nice here.

    DRK Questions

    Dark Knights while fun, seem to lack a sort of uniqueness in the game. Even our weapons are often just resized versions of the PLD weapons. Yes the fact that we have to manage our mana is termed as our "Unique" feature. But we really do not give much back to the party. This leaves me with a few questions

    Is there a plan to increase the Utility of the DRK skillset?

    Can we please get unique models for our primal weapons. This re sized PLD weapons honestly looks like something you would expect from a cheaply made game. FFXIV is better than that. The Ifrit weapon is hideous. Can you please explain to me HOW the garuda weapon is supposed to hurt something? Are we bashing its head in?

    Is there plans to change to animation for Darkside?

    I see a large portion of the community unhappy with the addition of the Machinist, and the almost identical similarities to the Bard. Are there any plans to re-invent the Machinist or Bard to make them unique?

    Been a Bard main since 2.2. When first hearing about Bard abilities before the expansion, I was intrigued by Wanderer's Minuet. After getting Bard to 60, I started playing a MCH and at level 52 I get Gauss Barrel which is a direct copy of Wanderer's Minuet. Now MCH feels to much like a Bard and lost a lot of it's uniqueness before level 52. Yes, rotation may be slightly different for abilities, but it still feels way too much like I'm playing my Bard. Are there plans to change Gauss Barrel so that it is not a copy of Wanderer's Minuet?
