Are there any plans to add more job-specific armor? Having all tanks and healers look the same really seems to take away from their uniqueness as a job.

Are there any plans to add any more functionality to Linkshells?
Since we have the ability to have up to 8 retainers inventory management can get a little out of hand as I sometimes get duplicate items taking up space on multiple retainers. Can there be some way we can see a list of what is in our retainers inventory in the lodestone so we can better opitmize where items go?

In the light of undersized pre-made partying 4-man dungeons - in the future, would we be able to run dungeons with one or two more players (oversized) pre-made parties? Possibly by scaling the enemies HP/Defense/etc to the amount of extra players?
My FC is a group of 5 (active) friends and we're always running into the situations of someone being left out of dungeon runs and having to wait in the dutyfinder by themselves or wait till we get out to run the same dungeon a second time with that person (Expert/High level Roulettes, lvl 60 dungeons for tomes, etc).

Is there any reason we can't use Blood Weapon with Grit? Possibly it does not grant the Haste Bonus? It seems silly to have such a good tool that can't be used while doing your party role.

The cross class system in 1.0 allowed for many variations on character and build, the most notable was the days of the Pugilist Tank which with the right cross class allowed it to do something different than simply being a DPS role.
The issue with the system now is it feels more like a leftover than anything as the job systems limit what can be cross classed as well. This creates a feeling that the player has no choice on cross class abilities. For example tanks MUST take Provoke and other cooldowns, there's no choice here making the system redundant as the skills could simply be built into the class.
Is there going to be any plan to change how this works in the future to something with more choice for the player? Is there any plan to introduce some other system of customization? Right now as it stands the game has little to no choice resulting in every character feeling very much the same as even gear has identical progression.

Will we see new companions such as the Ceourl or Fenrir?
i am an old school final fantasy 11 summoner, i know i wont get my summons such as fenrir, but i be super happy if i can get him as a companion, rather then just a mount.
Are there plans to include mission convoys from waypoint to waypoint and protect them being raid by burglars/thieves from destroying/stealing etc...![]()
Hello,
To bounce on that issue of Hideyuki KASUGA (Technical Director and Lead Programmer) :
- Knowing the advantages of DirectX 12 with respect to this issue on DirectX 9.0c / DirectX 11As an MMORPG, FFXIV has to display many complex objects at once, and as such it is unavoidably demanding on systems.
- Given your work in close collaboration with Microsoft and NVIDIA on this DirectX 12 tech demo : http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2015/04/30/build-demo/
Does a carry FF XIV to DirectX 12 is expected ?
PS : Sorry for my bad english.

When can we expect our existing mounts to fly? Specifically the Bomb Palanquin and Ahriman.![]()
