    Great Swords are silly in this game.

    difference between a graphical/decoration GS and a GS that is made for use to look fancy is... if it is for an event they wont be awe inspiring while when the real ones come they will have some good details, me thinks!

    Also should mention general issue mass produced swords like those pictured... will never look great haha. They are cheap and easy to mass produce :O! just needs to be sharp and pointy!

    SE said they will eventually be working on weild styles. So 2 hand will be coming. Also those are just decoration like on weapon shops. The actual things will be much better

    We did have pics of an actual ffXIV greatsword from a magazine scan (which I can't find now) and I can assure you that they looked great! They even had a sheath *in-game*.

    @OP Greatswords in the real world are close to 2meters tall. Picture Cloud's sword only make it a sword and not an airplane wing.
