healing has NEVER been the highest gate for kills.

MND is also healer DPS, which will likely account for more than whatever small amount of DPS you will gain from having an AST anyways.

(which, by the way, there is no gain, due to the fact that AST's DPS is smaller than WHM and SCH, even with the cards added on)
