Talk about some unwelcome necromancy... can we just let this thread die? This was a bad idea to begin with, no need to keep pointing it out.

Necromancy? On my own thread? Lol
You know what they say if you have nothing to contribute well....
The fact you've had bad experiences with pvp before and are biased isnt grounds for closing this thread down
On topic does Frontlines pop more often on JP servers? And its there any English being spoken during the matches? :0
Life's a tease.

And how is this suppose to "fix" the hunt problem? Your just making more drama than FFXI HNM. Hunts problem is design and reward, not lack of pvp options.
In order to participate in "the hunt" players must wear an Allied tabard thats designed behind their GC of choice. While wearing this tabard you are open to be attacked by anyone, including players of your own GC and party.
I can see it now. Early pullers getting walloped by 20-50 players, would be golden, but then other things can happen, like the 10 drgs that jumped on their target getting wiped out by an onslaught of incoming AoE's
Would be nice if you could challenge people and groups wherever to a duel rather than waste years in pvp queues.
Are you trying to kill this game? I think in every game that has offered open-world PvP as an optional server choice, it has always been the less popular choice to PvE servers. I get that it's a drag for players who love PvP, and I wish there was an optional server for you all to do your thing, but forcing PvP on the rest of the community would be the mother of horrible mistakes.

Worst part of WoW was the constant pvp challenges. As someone who has 0 interest in pvp it was a nuisance and one of the reasons I left after lvl 30.
Should have picked a pve server or rp server.
I would have no problem with wpvp if they had dedicated servers for wpvp. But to make every server wpvp would kill the game.
Just no, the endless crying it would cause "WAHH! I got ganked" "MOAR GRIEFERZ PLZ!!" "Y NO COMPLETE QUEST WITH PVP"I'd like to make a suggestion from someone who greatly enjoys pvp, and even better pvp at its truest form. (open world pvp)
Recently people are complaining about hunts again like they did when they first came out and I've been thinking of something but never really asked anyone for their opinion, how would people feel about open world pvp?
Picture rolling up with your FC and getting rid of those pesky early pullers who tease you in shout and destroying them?
How about that pvp gear you have that does nothing but look pretty, wouldn't you rather smash some skulls with it?
It's a fun idea I've been thinking of, obviously won't ever happen since people rather RP than pvp but coming from a pvp background I'd enjoy it.
While YOU may enjoy it, those being ganked would not unless there was a way to turn it off (thereby not being world PvP) it would be placing the wishes of one kind of player over another's which is wrong. Both pay the same amount to enjoy the game, both should be allowed.
That's why BG's were created, so people could PvP without negatively impacting on those who play for other reasons
Blame player attitudes and self entitlement

Yeah... I guarantee this won't be used primarily for meting out justice upon those who defy the will of the community and troll the community. It'll primarily be parties of folks ganking people trying to get their quests done or gather mats.
