If only those QQers of early pullers would win anyway in pvp.. It'll just frustate them more and more since they are actually lacking people to inform them that the hunts has been sighted in a long time..

The thing that will fix this riot is a lynch mob.
Talk about bad ideas. This really cuts the cake.
How about no? Open world PvP is THE drama source of any game that offers it. Why not allow PvP in the dungeons too? What's better than slaughtering the people you are supposed to run it with!
If they consider it, please put it on a separated server AWAY from everyone that actually enjoys playing the game as it was intended to.

Maybe... how about a compromise? The Carteneau Flats as an actual part of the world than can walked/teleported to, has nodes for gathering, spawns monsters for hunting and allows the killing of others for PvP XP.
Teleporting/entering asks you if you are going in as a representative of your GC, FC or unaffiliated. Can't attack dudes on your own side obviously.
Edit: goes without saying the new PvP area that's coming should get the same treatment IMHO.
Edit2: Frontlines does not scratch the itch, because after the initial novelty wears off it's dead. At least as an open world area with PvE stuff in it as well you could always try and find someone, hell you could queue for Frontlines then go mess about in the open world PvP area while you wait.

Saw this done before. You know the result? No one even bothers walking to that area ever, the game soon died after that. You can't change something that wasn't built from the basic. When the game wasn't advertised as a pvp-focused, it only attracts pve players and the players are those who decide whether one idea is effective or not.Maybe... how about a compromise? I doubt the death of the whole game was due to an apparently totally unused optional open world PvP area. I can guarantee you that being able to walk to the flats wouldn't kill FFXIV.Saw this done before. You know the result? No one even bothers walking to that area ever, the game soon died after that. Obviously it's not solely because of the addition of pvp, however it can affect the whole game in a negative way that you won't expect. I'm not saying that it will kill the game, but at the same time I won't say it will add any new flavour to the game either. If I was in a developer's shoes, I wouldn't put in such an unpredictable element into and already stable work without clear indication that it will bring positive outcome. Can you guarantee that the players will like the pvp or it will just be an empty area anyways? Unlike classes and jobs where you can tweak/adjust at will, I don't think you can very conveniently add and remove pvp element without losing a substantial player base.

We have Carteneau Flats/Frontline to scratch a PvP itch in this game and that should suffice. Honestly I've never played a MMO where PvP was LESS of a part of the development team's agenda. If PvP is your thing then ArcheAge or Guild Wars 2 would be a better choice of game.
And as for PvP relating to the Hunts... I know the Hunts are a bit irritating right now due to how many people are chasing after them but giving those people the option to eradicate each other won't solve the problem. In WoW this made the spawns even harder to kill (as you were being attacked from all sides) and caused some ludicrous amounts of lag. It also opened up new opportunities for people to grief each other by forming raiding parties and killing anyone trying to get to the spawn. This is not something I'd like to see in this game. WoW was at least built from the ground up with basic PvP in mind.

I think a slight change in our culture should help solve the issue of early pulling.
Until everyone is ready to pull, early pullers can do as they please, but no one is allowed to help them.
Of course, this would need everyone bar the puller to back off, but it's their just desserts for ignoring common courtesy.
