    Delirium - A question

Okay, this has been bugging me a bit, so I'm finally gonna ask. What benefit does reducing a targets INT have on most targets?

I mean, obviously it will reduce the amount of damage done by spell casting targets (last boss of the Vault comes to mind), but is that it? Do certain special abilities that do elemental of non-aspected damage (like say a dragon's fire breath) get their damage reduced even of the creature using it attacks with physical melee hits most of the time?

It is an alternative to Dragon Kick from the MNK.

Otherwise it has no use unless you are in the Siphon combo and you don't have enough mana for a Dark Arts you use Delirium for the higher potency ability.

It's tough to say exactly what skills are and aren't based off of INT, but it's a pretty good assumption that anything spell or magic based will get its damage reduced by Delirium.

    How about Ifrit's Incinerate,

iirc Monk's DK didn't influence that tank buster (could be wrong, but I do remember having a discussion at some point about it, whether needing or not needing idr)

Really have to take it by a case by case basis

Much of the raid-wide stuff is Int based. t11 Nerve Cloud, t12's Flames of Rebirth, Rage of Bahamut and Mega/Giga flares. These are the main reason Dragon Kick was so useful in FCOB when DPS HP was low.

There's no real hard and fast rule to tell though.

Unless you can DA soul eater its the highest potency combo you have.

Generally I'll start off in Grit and do enmity combo while DAing the last hit. Cancel grit and just spam through siphon rotation for days on bosses. (Only in instances)
