Frame Drops

As of the June 30th hot fix, I've been experiencing frame drops in certain areas, as well as in dungeons.

Most notably, when running through the arch/tower in Idyllshire my frames drop below 20 fps, but then rise to 60 once out of the arch. It does likewise in dungeons, during boss fights and trash pulls. I've monitored my GPU temp, not the problem. I reinstalled my drivers, not the problem. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, has anyone else been experiencing this since the hot fix?

Not sure if it's related, but even before the patch I noticed that the frame rate limit in the settings is giving me half of what it should. So if I set it to 60 fps it limits it to 30, if I set it to 30 it limits it to 15.

I have noticed drops on the dx11 client and max settings when there is water, like it has not been very well optimized and it consumes lots of resources. I have a high end rig 4770k oc gtx 980, as long as there is no water my frames are really good but when there is water in the scenery my fps will go down noticeably.
I hope they can fix this.

i noticed the same thing since i changed to dx11 , my frame rate drops to about 22 in certain areas .


i hope it gets fixed
