    system error: -2146697211

    I recieved the following system error code: -2146697211

    With the message:
    http://frontier.ffxiv.com/version_3_...=2015-07-01-00

    What the hell does this mean?!
    And at the same time is there a way to fix this or get around it?

    I already tried running the ffxivboot.exe program using the "Run as Admin" prompt and got the same result.
    After I click "OK", the Launcher shuts down.

    I attempted an uninstall/reinstall of FFXIV and Heavensward -- Result: same error message

    download of an element in the browser portion of the launcher failed, resulting in an unrecoverable script error.

    The more common culprits are security (new version detected, need to update the enable/allow rule to recognize the new version) and SSL/TLS support issues (run inetcpl.cpl in the search/run box, go to the advanced tab and scroll down the list--make sure all SSL/TLS options are active).

    Otherwise, something else is likely interrupting the download process when it is trying to pull information through the frontier.ffxiv.com server. May want to run a malware/AV scan.
