    A Rank Weekly Bills, B Rank Daily Bills ...

    This would solve most hunt problems. obviously, A Rank respawn would have to be reduced to maybe like 15 minutes if not 5 or 10.

    There are 3 tiers of trash targets no reason why there couldn't there be 2 tiers of elite targets. Reduce the B Rank seal reward to 50, have the weekly be 250 (or maybe even more).

    For quality of life, maybe make it so that people in the same Free/Grand Company all get the same A Ranks each week and that it rotates through them all instead of being random.

    This will actually increase cooperation between players. Have FC and PF groups to bring down A Ranks instead of mass zergs. Have people out in the zones daily looking for B Ranks and helping other players find their marks.

    The obvious side effect would be that people can't hunt endlessly all day and amass 1k+ seals a day. Not sure if that's good or bad. That can be countered by lowering the respawn time of S Ranks as well, make them pop every 8-12 hours.

    This would fix things until the frenzy of these first few weeks dies down, after which it would make it very difficult for anyone not in a dedicated hunting group to get their weekly seals. As is, (or rather as it was before HW), you can shout that an A rank is up and get a few people together to help take it down because everyone has incentive to help. If they're reduced to "only hunt a specific one a week" on the A ranks, very few people would be willing to help out players who shout that they need help with their A ranks, because there would be no reward in it for them. Doing this would essentially reduce A ranks to a B rank hunt that players can't actually hunt on their own.....

    The problem are those little sections I underlined there. You're stating that with top tier gear and with just the right combination players can two man A ranks. The problem being that the new A ranks require you to have your class at level 60 to take part in, as well as the new top tier of gear on said class. Expecting players to have to get to that point with "the right jobs" in order to take down an A rank, is a lot bigger of a stretch than expecting them to reach level 50 with i130 gear, because you have to first pass that level 50 point then continue on to what is truthfully a far more grueling grind than the first 50 levels, not including getting the endgame gear on said classes. This is fine for the people who leveled up the "right job" for this along with their friend who also leveled the "right job" to counterpart it, but the player base levels a large variety of jobs, and as such I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of players won't have the jobs leveled to take down A ranks in two man groups as you have suggested. The matter isn't one of "it can be done", it's one of "should we retroactively lock out most of the players from having access to said content that they can currently participate in".....

    You can fully gear up a class with just the daily and weekly hunt ranks within a few weeks now so unless you're looking to fully gear up every single class asap (in which case, this suggestion will actually be worse), I think it's fine as it is.

    at i130 in 2.0 you can 2 man A Ranks with the right jobs. the same thing will happen here.

    hunts on my server never died down until the next patch which obsoleted Sands/Oils and again with Coats/Twines. there's always 3 months where it's a mess and 3 months where it dwindles.

    and under that system, you would just miss the 250 from the weekly, you can still get the 50 x 7 from the B Ranks, the 110 x 7 from the Clan Bills.

    why is the default concern always the speed of which to gear up?

    it's to increase traffic in all the zones, spread people around and increase collaboration among players.

    it also makes A rank mechanics matter, give friends and FCs something to do as a group that's not 4 and 8 man restricted.
