i relied alot on the 20k tournament rwards for my fenrir currently somethin like 200kish lolz burnt alot buying breeding certifcates ._. used to look forward to new tourneys starting but now its meh.... just not worth doing anymoreWhoa, that sucks, I haven't been able to play today because of work, but I liked doing those for the chance at some rare cards and the extra MGP was good, but I might as well stop entering the tourneys if thing are like this, playing 40 matches for almost nothing is a huge waste of time and not worth it anymore from the looks of it.

Yah, They successfully killed the one and last reason I ever had to step in the Golden Saucer. Not only is it grueling and slow doing 40 matches in a row, finishing them all and getting 4kMGP and no cards for the effort? Done
I'd happily play against real people but they're busy Win-selling.

I agree with you. THIS ONE SE IS THE WORST MISTAKE THAT YOU COULD HAVE EVER MADE. I myself will never play in another triple triad tournament again unless you fix this. Triple triad to me like the others have said use to be fun. Now it's more of a joke. A really bad joke. Sure fix the triple triad tournaments by making it so that the win traders get everything. How can you honestly say that that is a fix. You just made it even more broken then it already was. So go back to the drawing table and really think hard on getting this issue resolved and have a nice day.Yah, They successfully killed the one and last reason I ever had to step in the Golden Saucer. It's broken. Now the win traders have even more reasons to cheat it. It looks like they like helping the cheaters also ignoring bots...
Now legit players get nothing...
Greetings,
Thank you for your feedback.
In patch 3.0 we made adjustments to the points earned for Triple Triad tournaments so you can earn more points when matched against other players; however, as a result the amount of points earned from NPCs has become lower than what we expected. Therefore, we're currently working to address this issue quickly.
After the adjustments, you'll be able to earn the same amount of points you were able to get previously from NPCs.

Could you answer if the point thresholds for platinum packs will be changing from how it was before or can we expect the exact same overall as before?

Oh thank god!Greetings,

Yes, thanks for not letting the non-win traders get platinum packs this week. GG SE, GG. I was looking forward to my 4 Shivas this week.Greetings,

If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.
Next can you work on making it harder for people to cheat/buy matches/cheese? It's SO disheartening then the top player is the same person for every single tourny (Asami Jinkuen on Ultros who freely admits to cheating). You should only be able to challenge the same person once per tourny or once per day, to stop people with alt accounts just playing against that person 40 times and getting a stupid amount of points. It'll also encourage people to play each other and not the same person over and over every single tourny.
The Devs have said a match making system is too hard to build for just 2 players (server load etc) so if you don't want to make it easier for non-cheaters, at least make it harder for cheaters! Capping games at once per person per tourny/day wouldn't stop cheating but would make them have to use more effort/gil.

The tournament should just be a quest; the quest sends you on a tour of Eorzea challenging various npcs. With the tourny rule set of that week, just eliminate the "challenge other player" portion of the tournament entirely. If you want people to challenge other players, make a challenge log for the week where you have to defeat 10 different players to get X platinum packs and mgp, problem solved. Approximate time to think of solution? 5 Minutes or less.
The development team needs to stop over thinking simple things. It's not hard to retcon an old system and scrap it; it was done for FF14 1.0 just think of triple triad tournament as the same thing lol.
