Dravanian Mistletoe now sold by NPC

What the point of unspoiled nodes if can just go buy the item off a NPC? With the update Dravanian Mistletoe and Coerthan Tea Leaves can be bought from a vendor now. I know it still farmable but for people that do buy it there really no point going to the MB (unless looking for HQ) and getting it from gatherers when they can just to to the NPC and buy it. Any thoughts on this?

Buy from the vendor and post on the MB for a higher price. It's amazing how much that still works.

at least on my server these were the only items that were still haflway profitable with every other mat falling below 400gil per while these remained at a decent price. now its a joke how little they sell for on the market.... guess i lvled btn for nothing but script farming now.

I don't disagree that something needed to be done, considering how many recipes require holy and hallowed water, but slapping it on a vendor was super lazy. They should have increased the base yield off the node instead.

Too many crafters complained about it and as they have the tendency to be the richer (thus more powerful) members of Eorzea they get listened to.

Gatherers like myself were shafted.
