Can we get modern english translation?

I know rpers out there or others may be fine with this old school "thee" and what not but I would like if possible characters dialogue to be changeable to a more understanding English because at times it gives me a headache.

There are more things out there to be worked on and added but I really hate the current dialogue for the game for some characters. I understand the whole thats how that character talks back then or w/e but I normally find myself skipping them as to me its an eyesore for me to read.

If you're okay with it thats fine and dandy. If others have an issue with(current dialogue) it I would like an option to change the text in the menu section.

Its just a minor complaint but I just cant stand this Old style translation for some characters.

Nope. Turns out a lot of the dialogue is actually written in the Old English then localized back to Japanese. It's not going anywhere.

Granted 1.0 wasn't successful but it wasn't like this in 1.0 the dialogue. and I highly doubt the dialogue change would have helped but either way, I would also like a more modern dialogue as well for us people who listen with japanese audio

How can you listen to japanese audio but english sub?

Yuuuuup. Which is so very evident when yet again there are scenes where midgarsorm says 2 sentences in Japanese only to have just the first sentence translated in English. Because indeed, the localization team in english is very important. So important that it seems its the only one that strays pretty far from the script. (unlike the french/german from what i hear)

Thats because the translation team seems to have changed between then and now. Back then they still made it sound ''old'' but they also kept true that was actually being said, and didnt go on a mindtrip into unknown and strange ''olden language''

Yeah, was annoying . I also don't like that old english. It feels like they speak in riddles sometimes without getting the stuff out of their mouth properly
