Downloading Heavensward on PS3

A friend gave me a code for the PS3 version of Heavenward, I entered it in the PlayStation Store, confirmed that I wanted it to add it to my SE account and it shows up on the MogStation, but I don't know how to prompt it to download the data.

I can't create an Au Ra, do the new job quests, go to new areas, because they're not downloaded, but I can get experience above 50 and Law. It's very confusing.

Have you finished the Main Story Quests up to "Before The Dawn"?

The client should automatically update once you have logged out and then logged back in after putting the code in.

Otherwise, go to your 'account management' section on the dashboard and check for 'download list' . You should be able to start a download from there if you need to do it manually.

Yeah, I'm 60 and have finished the main story for 3.0. It's not at the top of the download list, and I'm not going to search through 1700+ items to get it. The store says it's not available for purchase, but I suppose that wouldn't matter when I used a retail code anyways.

Generally speaking, on the pre-Early Access maintenance they added all the relevant game data to the update file (around 4g of files, took forever with all the errors) and those that had registered had an additional update after that (another 2 gigs). At least that's how it was on PS4. Chances are high you already downloaded everything over the course of the last 2 weeks and only need to register to prove you have access.

I mean, it says on MogStation that I should have access. I got prompted when I entered the code and started up the game to add it onto my account. That's not the problem I'm having, but having it prompt a download is.

Not sure if this applies, but on the launcher, hit the "config" button. Make sure "Expansion Auto-Installation" is set to On.

See if that works.
